Ingredients
Method
- Preheat the oven to 500°F (260°C) with a pizza stone or baking sheet inside.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to a thin crust.
- Brush garlic infused olive oil over the surface of the dough.
- Arrange sliced tomatoes evenly on the dough and sprinkle with sea salt and black pepper.
- Transfer the pizza to the preheated stone and bake for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove the pizza from the oven and break the burrata balls apart, placing the creamy centers on top of the tomatoes.
- Scatter fresh basil leaves over the top and drizzle with balsamic glaze and red pepper flakes if desired.
- Slice and serve immediately.
Notes
Bring burrata to room temperature before using. Pat tomato slices dry to avoid sogginess. Use a pizza peel for easy transfer.
