Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) Pizza Dough
  • 1.5 cups Fresh Strawberries, hulled and sliced thi
  • 4 oz Goat Cheese, crumbled (Chevre)
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese, shredded, low-moisture
  • 3 tablespoons Balsamic Glaze
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Basil, thinly sliced (chiffonade)
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil, extra virgin for brushing
  • 1 teaspoon Honey, optional, for extra sweetness
  • 1 cup Arugula, optional, for topping after baking

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it heats.
  2. Slice the strawberries into thin, even pieces.
  3. Roll out your pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to a thin crust.
  4. Transfer the dough to parchment paper or a floured pizza peel and brush with olive oil.
  5. Spread shredded mozzarella evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
  6. Sprinkle crumbled goat cheese over the mozzarella.
  7. Arrange strawberry slices across the cheese in a single layer.
  8. Slide the pizza into the oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  9. Let the pizza rest for two minutes after baking.
  10. Drizzle balsamic glaze over the top and scatter fresh basil and arugula just before serving.
  11. Slice into wedges and enjoy immediately.

Notes

Pat strawberries dry after washing to avoid sogginess. Use a high-quality balsamic glaze for best flavor. Add fresh herbs after baking for brightness.
