Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) Pizza Dough
  • 1/2 Cup Tomato Sauce
  • 1.5 Cups (Shredded) Mozzarella Cheese
  • 20-30 Slices Pepperoni
  • 2-3 Tablespoons Honey (or Hot Honey)
  • 1/4 Cup (Grated) Parmesan Cheese
  • Small handful Fresh Basil
  • 1 Teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes (Optional)

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to its highest setting, usually between 475°F and 500°F (245°C-260°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it heats up.
  2. Stretch the pizza dough into a 12-inch circle and place it on parchment paper or a floured pizza peel. Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce over the surface.
  3. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly across the sauce, layer the pepperoni slices on top, and sprinkle the grated parmesan over the pepperoni.
  4. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese bubbles.
  5. Remove the pizza from the oven and let it rest for two minutes. Drizzle honey in a zigzag pattern across the surface, garnish with fresh basil and red pepper flakes, then slice and serve.

Notes

Ensure to use high-quality ingredients for the best flavor. Adjust the honey based on your preference for sweetness.
