- Preheat your oven to its highest setting, usually between 475°F and 500°F (245°C-260°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it heats up.
- Stretch the pizza dough into a 12-inch circle and place it on parchment paper or a floured pizza peel. Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce over the surface.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly across the sauce, layer the pepperoni slices on top, and sprinkle the grated parmesan over the pepperoni.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese bubbles.
- Remove the pizza from the oven and let it rest for two minutes. Drizzle honey in a zigzag pattern across the surface, garnish with fresh basil and red pepper flakes, then slice and serve.
