Ingredients

  • 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 3 medium fresh peaches, thinly sliced
  • 8 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, tor
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven now.
  2. Roll out your pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to about 12-14 inches in diameter and roughly 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Transfer the dough to your prepared surface. Brush the entire surface with olive oil, then sprinkle minced garlic evenly across the dough.
  4. Tear the fresh mozzarella into bite-sized pieces and distribute them evenly across the dough.
  5. Arrange your peach slices on top of the cheese, overlapping them slightly. Season with salt and black pepper.
  6. Bake the Peach Mozzarella Pizza for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 2-3 minutes. Tear fresh basil leaves and scatter them across the pizza. Drizzle balsamic glaze over everything.
  8. If desired, add red pepper flakes for a subtle heat. Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

Always pat peach slices dry before adding to prevent a soggy crust. Use a hot oven for a crispy crust.
