Ingredients

  • 1 lb (16 oz) Pizza Dough
  • 2 cups Cooked Chicken Breast, shredded or cubed
  • 3/4 cup Buffalo Wing Sauce
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese, freshly shredded
  • 1/2 cup Blue Cheese Crumbles, optional
  • 1/4 small Red Onion, thinly sliced
  • 2-3 tbsp Ranch or Blue Cheese Dressing, for drizzling
  • 2 tbsp Green Onions or Cilantro, freshly chopped for garnish
  • 1 tbsp Cornmeal, to prevent sticking

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and let the pizza dough sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In a medium bowl, toss the cooked chicken with 1/2 cup of buffalo sauce until coated.
  3. Sprinkle cornmeal on your work surface and stretch the dough into a 12-14 inch circle.
  4. Spread the remaining buffalo sauce over the dough, leaving a border. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese, then add the buffalo-coated chicken, red onions, blue cheese, and remaining mozzarella.
  5. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  6. Let the pizza rest for a few minutes, then drizzle with ranch dressing and garnish with green onions or cilantro before slicing.

Notes

Ensure to shred your own cheese for better melting. Avoid using too much sauce to prevent a soggy crust.
