Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) Pizza Dough
  • 1/2 cup BBQ Sauce
  • 2 large Fresh Peaches, sliced into thin wedges
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese, freshly shredded
  • 1/4 small Red Onion, thinly sliced into half-moons
  • 1/4 cup Gorgonzola or Goat Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro or Basil, freshly chopped for garnish
  • 2 tbsp Balsamic Glaze
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) or grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Place the dough on a lightly floured surface and stretch or roll it into a 12-inch circle.
  3. Spread the barbecue sauce evenly over the dough, leaving about an inch of space around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella over the sauce, then crumble the Gorgonzola or goat cheese on top.
  5. Arrange the peach slices and red onions over the cheese without overcrowding.
  6. Transfer the pizza to the oven or grill and bake for 10-12 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  7. Remove from heat, let it rest for two minutes, then drizzle with balsamic glaze and sprinkle with fresh cilantro or basil.
  8. Slice into wedges and serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh, high-quality ingredients for the best flavor. Consider pre-cooking red onions for a sweeter taste. Brush crust edges with olive oil for a savory finish.
